1. Service Description

Prime OCR is an optical character recognition service that extracts text from uploaded images and PDF documents. The service is provided by Prime Robotics (prime-robotics.eu).

2. Free Trial

New users receive 5 free document scans. The trial is tracked per browser using local storage. After the trial ends, you may contact us for continued access or pricing options.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to:

• Only upload documents you have the right to process
• Not attempt to circumvent the scan limit or any security measures
• Not use the service for illegal purposes
• Not use automated tools to send bulk requests

4. Accuracy

OCR results are provided "as is" without warranty of accuracy. While we strive for high-quality text extraction, results may contain errors, especially for handwritten text, poor-quality images, or complex layouts. Do not rely solely on OCR output for critical decisions without manual verification.

5. Document Handling

Uploaded documents are transmitted to our OCR processing API for text extraction and are not stored on our servers. However, documents are transmitted over the internet and processed by third-party APIs. Do not upload documents containing highly sensitive information (medical records, government secrets, etc.) unless you accept this risk.

6. Limitation of Liability

Prime Robotics shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use of this service, including but not limited to inaccurate OCR results, data loss during transmission, or service unavailability.

7. Changes

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
